Project Design

Initial consultations and discussion resulting in the production of initial concept designs. We provide a first consultation to discuss your requirements at no cost. As part of the Archicentre - Architects Advisory Service we provide a low-cost fixed fee Archicentre Design Report. see Resources/links page

Project Documentation

Documentation to completely describe the project to a stage suitable for Council Application. Initally the concept design is developed and when you are satisfied with the design, detailed documents and working drawings are prepared. This includes plan, elevations and sectional drawings and specification.
Many projects may also need require a Statement of Environment Effects, landscape plans, shadow diagrams and site analysis plans.

Council Applications

When required, part of our service is the lodging and following up of Council DA (Development Applications) and CC (Construction Certificates). These approvals are required for all but the smallest of projects.

Contract Administration

When required, contract administration is part of the service we provide. The scope of this can differ between projects and needs to be agreed before commencing. Can include the following:-

  • Calling for and comparing building tenders
  • Preparing the contract for construction
  • Supervising work on site
  • Inspecting work and authorising progress payments
  • Documenting and authorising variations
  • Assessing completion and resolving difficulties

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

With staff qualified in Permaculture, we can provide landscape design services as required. We specialise in low maintenance Australian native landscaping.

PHOTOCOPYING/PLAN PRINTING

We have full photocopying and plan printing facilities on site.
