John G. Bourke A.R.A.I.A. - Principal Architect, Director

B.Arch (hons) University of New South Wales
Diploma in Civic Design (hons) University of New South Wales
Permaculture Design Certificate

Principal Architect at Momentum. Mr Bourke graduated in 1964 with an Honours Degree in Architecture from The University of New South Wales. He won a Lend Lease Scholarship to study Civic Design and Planning in 1965 and studied with Professor Stein Eilor Rasmussen - Danish Professor of Architecture and Planning and completed other qualifications in Neighbourhood Planning, Traffic Engineering and Landscape Design.
Mr Bourke is an Associate Member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and was a member of the R.A.I.A. Energy Committee.
He is also qualified in Permaculture Design and Lectures in Energy Efficiency and Solar Design. He is President of Permaculture Hills to Hawkesbury.
Mr Bourke has provided consultation to Parramatta City Council on Permaculture and Ecologically Sustainable Development and to Baulkham Hills Council Environment Working Party.

Bill King - Builder, Director

Licenced Builder (Licence No. 30984)
Member of Housing Industry of N.S.W. (Membership No. 383034).

Bill has a long established career in Building Construction with over 30 years in construction experience. He was trained in England as a bricklayer and stonemason and came to Australia to work on the construction of the Walarawang Power Station and worked building the tall brick chimneys.
Bill has been the Construction Foreman on many large residential and commercial projects including high rise projects. He has worked for Mainline Constructions, Home Units of Australia, Constains, K.J. McCracken under the supervision of Architects, Smailing Boys and Vickery - Architects, John Poiner, Colerson & Bryant and Alan Greenway.
He built Colebrook House at Double Bay, Non Magnetic Research Laboratories for the C.S.I.R.O., various Motels & Hotels, Fairfield Railway Station and upgraded Merrylands Station, Shopping Centres, Travelodge Motels, Public Works, Department of Housing Projects, Ski Lodge at Thredbo for Mr Packer and Commercial and Industrial Projects.
Bill is fully experienced in site organisation, procedure and management and has worked for many years on projects under Architect supervision and has a hands on knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel fabrication and all trades associated with multistorey and larger projects.
He has seen various methods of site control and inspection and has been brought in to jobs to solve difficult problems and to supervise complicated projects. His ability to solve detailing problems on site and to find methods of construction that are practical and workable have impressed various large developers over the years and built him a sound reputation.

Andrew Grieve - Project Architect

B.Arch (hons) University of Auckland
Team member at Momentum for over 13 years. Specialising in design and co-rodination of DA and CC documentation of new homes, alterations, medium density, townhouses and unit developments. Enjoys the challenge of resolving and maximising development potential of sites within constraints and council requirements. Andrew maintains many Local Council contacts through various projects in diverse Council areas.
Andrew dabbles part time in desktop and web publishing.

Kim Eagleton - Project Architect

After broadening her life and architectural experience, Kim has returned from private practice to where she started as a team member of Homeplan. With a strong background in residential, commercial and institutional projects, Kim prides herself in thorough and accurate design documentation.

Dane Harris - Architectural Draughtsman

Studying Architectural Drafting at TAFE
Team member for over 5 years, Dane has broad experience with assisting in the preparation and documentation of architectural projects. With a range of skills in differing CAD software, Dane is a valued member of the design team.

Byron Bourke - Digital Artist

Byron Bourke is well on the way to a strong position in the world of design and the digital arts. He was imported from Western Australia mid-way through studying 'building design' at the credible 'Leederville Technical College', and much like a fine West Australian wine, his creative thinking and exceptional CAD abilities could become even more outstanding with age.
Byron has gained a reputation as a master in 3D modelling and rendering of projects.
